Kết quả xổ số miền bắc kqxsmbAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a range of complex neuro-development disorders, characterised by social impairments, communication difficulties and restricted, repetitive, and stereotyped patterns of behaviour. Autistic disorder, sometimes called autism or classical ASD, is the most severe form of ASD, while other conditions along the spectrum include a milder form known as Asperger syndrome and childhood disintegrative disorder and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified. Although ASD varies significantly in character and severity, it occurs in all ethnic and socioeconomic groups and affects every age group.
At the Artemis Special Children’s Center (ASCC), we strive to empower parents with accurate information so they can make the best decisions for their child. We help children and their parents with the complicated day-to-day issues associated with autism. We provide education, training, and support for parents and other relatives, and over time, we have developed intervention services for children with autism, including at-home habitation and an integrated pre-school.
It is critical that children are assessed and diagnosed at the earliest age possible, which opens the door for important early-intervention services. Assessment tools, when properly utilized, can diagnose children earlier, measure progress through intervention, and help tailor treatment plans for each individual child. While there are exceptional tools designed to measure the multiple components of autism, there is a lack of qualified professionals to conduct the assessments and even fewer who are qualified or can take time to explain results to parents.
